French-German TV channel Arte broadcasts INTO THE HEART OF PAIN (Arte title: ANATOMIE DE LA DOULEUR / IM REICH DER SCHMERZEN) on June 25 in Arte THEMA. Why are we so ‘unequal’ when it comes to pain? Are there ways to moderate it? Can we increase our resistance to pain, as French olympic gymnast Samir Aït Saïd says in this film? THIN LINE’s latest feature film invites viewers to get as close as possible to the experience of pain so that we can better manage the day that it inevitably intrudes into our lives.
